Comments Thread For: Juan Manuel Marquez Does Not Expect The Same Bradley

Four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1, 40KOs) does not expect the same Timothy Bradley (30-0, 12Kos) that fans saw in March against Ruslan Provodnikov. In that particular fight, the WBO welterweight champion stood toe to toe with Provodnikov. He took a lot of punishment and nearly got himself knocked out several times in the contest.

Marquez feels the other Timothy Bradley will show up. The Bradley who boxes and uses speed to his advantage.

    I totally agree with JMM

Bradley took Provi***ov lightly and tried to take him out with early knockout
It backfired and he had to go to the depths of hell to pull out a victory

I think Bradley will bring his A-game and i honestly think he beats up marquez down the stretch

He's right. Bad decision by Marquez.

Marquez knows what he is talking about and this imo is a 50-50 fight and I am really looking forward to it.

Absolutely, Timmy would be a fool to go right into Marquez game plan. He gas a high ko ratio and isnt green like provodnikov. Marquez would finish Timmy off if he were to hurt him. Using those young legs would be smart and carry the old Marquez to the later rounds to a UD. Marquez is going to the body early to kill those legs and setting up Timmy with traps. After the mobility is gone Timmy gets outclassed and stopped

When have you ever heard JMM talking about losing to an opponent? Listen to the great warrior, he knows skill when he sees it. Expect Tim to be 120% for this fight

Start thinking about your next screen name for when JMM gets outclassed. People will have many, many excuses but Tim will be victorious once again. With the passing of time, he slowly yet consistently scratches away at every possible way people can discredit him until everyone is forced to accept him as the p4p#1 people's champ; it's his destiny.

Hes 100% dead on. Bradley isnt gonna get himself in another brawl. He will use speed, footwork, and his athleticism to win him a decision win over JMM. Dont see JMM out boxing this guy. Hes to conservative now a days.

JMM should have took the Money in the 5th Pac fight.
                  Manny fights Rios and wins...
                  JMM fights Bradley and loses...
Manny rematches the winner (Bradley) and Wins.
JMM loses to the guy Manny beat...
Whats that make the 4th fight look like?

He handed 4 out of those 5 their only loss. If he puts on a clinic against JMM, he should be top 4 no questions.
