Purdy is a late replacement for the previous mandatory challenger Kell Brook, who withdrew with an injury. Alexander-Brook had been postponed three times. Purdy aims to make the most of his championship opportunity and Alexander is prepared to do everything in his power to stop him.

I hope Alexander loses. I dont like seeing him fight. And him winning means a potential fight with floyd. Its bad enough watching him for free.

Devon will win this fight going away but if he wants a Mayweather fight he better start showing he can entertain a crowd. He needs to bring the electricity in this fight then pull the plug on Purdy and cut his lights out.

But this is Lee Purdy. It's time to step on the gas and show the world what he's got. Perfect opportunity to get in position for a Floyd fight down the road.
The problem is why are you still defending him?

I am with you man! Devon is going to look great and put on a great performance that ends with him knocking Purdy out. WAR ALEXANDER!

Because unlike what most people think of him Devon does have a lot of talent and ability. He's just now entering his prime and could become a top guy at 147.

I fully expect Devon to make a statement in this fight, as he should. Alexander by late stoppage is what I've got.

That fight's already a done deal.....Floyd had that one on the books over a month ago.

                  I agree, to an extent.

I think Floyd has Alexander circled as his next oponent, but he hasn't told anyone on Team Alexander that.

I see something like this happening. Soon after the fight, if not right after, Kevin Cunningham is going to start calling out Mayweather. He will beat that drum for a few weeks and then the fight to be made by mid June.

Of course Devon has to win first or nothing happens.

Alexander doesn't need to be aggressive, he could be on the backfoot all night and still spark Purdy. Purdy won't take a step backwards and will give Alexander ample opportunity to land some big shots, I'm going to punt on Purdy just for the lolz though.

It's a shame the bookies don't share the sentiments of people on here, he's 1/2 to stop Purdy, anything over evens would've been great value.

More power to you. Key word is could. Devon has talent, but....I just can't...... He lost me long time ago.
