Eddie Hearn does not expect a fight between Carl Froch and Bernard Hopkins to come to pass.
Hopkins, at 48 the oldest world champion in history, said last week Froch was 'top of my wish list' despite the American now campaigning in a higher weight class.
But that difference in weight - the Briton is a natural super-middleweight - means a fight between the pair is unlikely.
And Froch also must take care of Mikkel Kessler later this month before considering his future options.

the guy didn't win a title until Calzaghe was already retired. Instead Calzaghe fought a prime undefeated Kessler and moved up to the full 175 to fight Hopkins (who was the lineal champ). Meanwhile Froch loses to a lesser version of Kessler and then refuses to fight a much older Hopkins at a 170 pound catchweight.
