That's what I think as well!

Because he did what was asked of him. He fought a top jr middleweight and won. If a man can get to fight Floyd 2 times after beating Berto, then the next biggest draw should get a shot beating a fighter infinitely better than Berto, bro.

Or does he need to invite Berto to 154 beat him there, then (earn his shot that way)??

Floyd ducked Cotto, Manny, Margarito, PWill those are straight facts. But Canelo duckes GGG, Martinez, Ward, Kessler and others.
He made the LMW limit and beat the number #1 ranked LMW. Floyd has a title at 154.....what's the issue?

he doesn't have a point because he doesn't understand how the game works. if canelo can make the weight healthy he has no reason to move up. to argue that he should be fighting middleweights or super middleweights is ignoring the fact that many of them also put on that same kind of weight. chavez jr is around 185 on fight night.

When did Canelo demand a fighter come down drained??? And last I checked, Not only did Canelo negotiate with Kirkland and Williams, he also DEMANDED Trout and fought him. At least he tried to get 154 pounders but one backed out and sadly the other was seriously injured in a Bike accident. Nothing excuses Floyd for doing EXACTLY what he ATTACKED Pac for doing. This has nothing to do with Canelo....this has to do with Floyd demanding (Fill in name_____________154 pound champ to fight at 147 when Floyd fought for 2 titles at 154.

naw not an savior FMW fans are on that real talk and facts, me personaly still think floyd can beat Canelo at 154 it would be a rough start for maybe 5 rds with floyd winning 3 out of those 5 two for canelo and then he maybe stills another one in rd 6 or 7 then the rest is Mayweather, Canelo show stamina problems every long fight. but i think if these bigger guys call out floyd bigger guys should be able to call out canelo and Martinez

Now the argument is that Canelo who campaigns at 154 should go to 168, (2) weight classes above anywhere he's ever competed because a Floyd fan feels that the 2 time jr middleweight champ should be allowed to duck a real jr middleweight??

It's Floyd saying "Yes I'll fight this guy at 154, yes I'll fight that guy at 154. Canelo, NOPE, you gotta come down to 147. You too big and strong, need you drained." Lame as hell!

For anyone that's willing to answer, how much longer does anyone think Canelo will be able to make 154 healthy? Is it possible that his decent stamina at this point in time is due to having to make '54?
I have stated this myself that it may be contributing to his stamina issues BUT that doesn't mean that he can't or shouldn't be fighting other 154 opponents especially one that holds a title and is P4P #1.

He just needs to find out a way to improve on that issue. If he can't or grows out of 154 then of course he should move up ..... but again, Canelo should not move up because people think that he is too big for 154 and its not fair for his opponents.

To be fair Manny fought at 154 too, it is what it is. People pick higher weight classes than they can fight in, if they see the opponent as beatable or worth the risk. Canelo isn't worth the risk to Mayweather right now, he isn't well known outside of mexico. As for the weight thing Canelo won't fight anyone bigger when he's fought one guy that's 154 lbers as is. Canelo has maybe a year left at 154 with how big he is, and it won't get any easier to make it as time goes on, hence why he's clamouring for the fight now.
