It is under my personal belief that Danny Garcia and Al Haymon will steer far, far away from Lucas Matthysse should he beat Peterson.

I was wondering about this myself since Lucas just signed with Haymon. I can't imagine he would want one of his premier fighters losing to another one of his top fighters.

Do you even watch boxing?? Garcia's best moments have come against morales (twice) and khan. Morales hasnt been a top tier fighter since 2005 & amir khan is notoriously suspect for not being able to take clean shots up top. Garcia just lost the championship rds on all 3 judges' scorecards against a zab judah who doesnt have the speed or the lateral movement of old...And you really think he has a serious chance to beat the best pure boxer w/ the best defensive skills this side of b-hop when garcia wont have the edge in speed or stamina...Come on yo

You make sense until one of your favorites gets involved (PR fighters), so it's not news how you feel, but overlooking that. Danny is too small, too slow, and has OK, but not killer power. Danny is a plodder at 140 lbs, Floyd dances at 154 with blinding speed. Danny's power dwindles in comparison.

I don't give Garcia much of a chance against Floyd. Think back to the Khan fight. Before Amir got caught with the big hook in round 4, he was completely outclassing Garcia with quick jabs, movement and speed. If he can do that, Floyd will have no problem dealing with him.

                  One-sided unanimous decision for Floyd.

agreed but the number of buys would say different for sure
