Outside of blaming gloves for a loss:

First, this guy says Manny's only been stopped by body shots. And that's a ****ing lie. He was pwned for that.

Then he says Manny wasn't confident, though he and his team hyped the "Manilla Ice" bull**** that was supposed to catch Erik off guard. But he wasn't confident right?

He then goes off saying Manny has a solid beard, and said Serikzhan Yeshmangbetov dropped Manny with a body shot, which is a ****IN fabrication. It was INDEED to the chin.

He THEN says Manny's only been down twice, when in fact he's been down several times.

1. Rustico Torrecampo - who knocked (1) him the **** out from a headshot. Psychopath said it was to the body. ****, you could search Pacquiao's own forum and find out it was a headshot.

His chin failed him.

2. Medgoen Singsurat - who absolutely mauled (2) Manny. But, they act as if the fight were competitive and Manny was just caught with a body shot. NOPE you *******s, he got his ass kicked from ding to dong.

3. Nedal Hussein - Who kicked Manny's ass thoroughly, and dropped him (3) early from another HEADSHOT. The ref delivered a long count and Manny beat the count, barely. Hussein would go on to dominate until a sudden clash of heads created a cut on Hussein. This gave the ref an excuse to stop the fight as a Pacquiao victory. Another fight where Pac's chin failed him.

4. Serikzhan Yeshmangbetov - who dropped (4) Manny from another HEADSHOT, but Manny battled back and stopped his gamed foe. His chin failed him again.

So that adds up to be 4 legit knockdowns, and not twice as he confidently insisted. I would count the slip vs Barrera, but it wasn't legit IMO. But, what's crazy is Pacquiao's chin has always been questionable, but don't tell his fanboys that.

The only thing he has on me is a typo.

was there ever a fight before this where a someone used gloves as an excuse?

back in the 80's there was a pre fight issue about using a "thumbless" gloves (thumbs shaved off), big name bout, but i forgot who they were, it was in the contract so like pac, the other guy wasn't too happy about it, coz he is not used to it...like manny p said you have to look it up in boxing history...it wasn't an excuse, more like a complain, coz he only had a little bit of time to train with it and get used to or something, so as you can see, gloves can be an issue, to some boxers at least...imho, especially for power puncher like Pac, gloves with less padding makes a big difference.

As far as physical advantages i think the gloves have little affect. However they do change a fighter mentally. I mean its like pool (sounds funny i know) all the pros can win with any stick but if they were told to switch before a match it would throw they off.
