I can only defend Floyd when I feel he's genuinely right, which I think he almost always is. He's completely wrong here and a hypocrite, it would be an 100% b*tch move. Hopefully these are just rumors that went out of control.

Floyd is going to the HOF.

There are interviews and videos of greats like Sugar RAy Leonard saying that Floyd is an all time great.

Trainers and other fighters of this era and past era's saying that Floyd is an all time great.

So what you think means nothing.
Everyone knows he's a great fighter - the issue is that he never wants to prove it in a ifght where he won't be at least a 5-1 favorite

Canelo wants the advantage, he wants to come in at 175. What are we arguing here people? sheesh. Fight at 154, Canelo shouldn't be allowed to come in higher than 165, i think thats cool

            Canelo must not count.

I think Miguel Cotto is a hell of a fighter, a strong solid 154-pounder. Pacquiao was trying to fight him at 147. I would never want to put a fighter in a position where he's not comfortable. I want a guy when he's at his best. If he's at his best at 154 and he's strong and he's solid, then that's the fight we're fighting at. I walk around at 150, but at the end of the day - skills pay the bills.

De La Hoya - Pacquiao fights him at a catch-weight. Cotto - he fights him at a catchweight. When I fought De La Hoya, I said 'give him to me at 154.' With Cotto - 'give him to me at 154.' Give me the guys where they are comfortable at their weight so there are no excuses.

If Floyd fought Canelo who do you think Vegas would make the favorite?

utterly repugnant posters on this thread.
Yea, he was 170 in his last fight wasnt he? Some people dont understand weight classes. If Cotto trains for a 54lber fight, and comes in weighing 160, and Ortiz trains at a 47 fight, and comes in at 164, more than Cotto. Cotto would be stronger, because he trained AS a 54 lber fighter. Floyd overpowered Ortiz, but not even close against Cotto. We have weight classes for a reason, so the little guys can hash it out, and the bigger boys can fight eachother.

Just be honest guys lol, admit that you think Floyd fighting a guy at 175 while he's 148 is fair game. A man makes 2 appearances at 154 and he can't request a rehydration clause against guy who's spent his whole career at 154 and rehydrates to light heavy. You people are so desperate to see Floyd lose that you think it can't be done unless it's someone who's coming in the ring 4 weight classes north. Lmfao, pathetic!
