the fight hasn't happened yet so it doesn't ****ing matter what he asks for in negotiations what matters is what the fight at. If they fight at 147 then you can criticize it.You are *****ing because of something his manager said that is clearly being used for negotiation purposes at this point.

It's not just a Trainer saying this, it fits everything Floyd does. Some of you act like it is easier to believe UFO's landed on the whitehouse than it is for Floyd to make such a demand. Not hard to believe when it is Floyd making demands, seriously. And no motivation behind someone close to the situation providing details of Mayweather asking for Canelo to come in lower. It REEKS of Floyd, it has Floyd written all over it.

This forum has a history of flipping out over unconfirmed rumors, like the time Floyd was going to fight Alexander instead of Guerrero. Let's see what happens, hopefully the fight gets made (at 154 of course).
I took that back, misread your comment. You may be right and this is premature. What it did accomplish is totally discrediting 3/4 of his fan base here, the "come on down and get it" rehydration crew. Took like 2 hours to totally expose these characters

Come on man, dont be disingenuous, Let me remind you what happened. Pac was making his first run for congress, had to start campaigning in April. He takes that stuff real serious. He didn't have time to **** around with the roadblocker, needed a fight done asap. He won the election and had time to put up with the guy, who vanished after HBO tried to play intermediary. Then resurfaced after a good while with brand new roadblocks

So that's not being helpful, it's the opposite. I don't see how his stock went down anyway, he just beat his 2nd top 5 welter 4 months after moving up. check Floyd's first 4 months at welter

Uh, um....one problem with that. His stock didn't go down. Look how much Bradley and JMM were being offered. Losing does not automatically equate to stock. Stock goes down when fighters quit, look boring, don't come in shape, are totally washed up. Pac still has the style many see as giving problems to Floyd and vice-versa. The only way that changes is if Pac keeps losing or shows he cannot compete anymore.

If Floyd did ask for that weight what sense does it make to leak it. ESP when you have no leverage. He's not in Manny seat and its known if they fight it will be at 154.
