It just may be they feel they're being jerked around, and it just isn't happening.

    • Canelo is an overrated nobody, if he wants the fight he will come to Floyds weight, if not **** off and continue to fight bums.

He trained good for Ortiz, but still didnt have this footwork he possessed against Ghost. Against Cotto, he started training thoughout the whole year, and began an official training camp a few weeks before the first presser.

Even if it wasnt confirmed that he was training too much, we all have the same eyes. We al saw the same thing; Floyd was dramatically off, and staring at slow punches as they landed on him.

I understand your a Cotto fan and everything, but Cotto is shot. Floyd shouldnt have even been making some of the horrible mistakes he made against Cotto. If you like Cotto, thats cool, but it is what it is. And again, I even like Cotto, and hate to discredit him, but we all noticed that Floyd looked off, and most of us thought he was aging overnight. I guess the MayDay Azzwhoopin we witnessed last week, said something different.

and airing it in public puts more pressure on floyd to drop this particular request. so it is actually an effective move.

after the pac fiasco, all the pressure is on mayweather to make this fight. he cant be part of another farce of a negotiation process with another fight the public want him to fight.

oh well. bottle up your feelings and shut up. its only been a few days. this is business, u dont go blabbing your mouth about every little detail in negotiations u dont like. thats unprofessional. thats how u always separate the pros from the ams. i mean arum does it, but he does it with reason. after 2 or 3 days and u are in the media? its amateur hour.

This has been building for a while. It really reached the tipping point with the ppv undercard. I agree Canelo has gotten too big for his britches, but what can you do, he's the next big star. It's not like Floyd and his fans didn't help GBP build him up for a future Floyd showdown.

                • Saul's camp should shut their faces and follow suit, or be taken out of consideration. Theyre only going to get the kid hurt anyway. He wont find floyd the whole fight, and get banged up in the process.

whats done is done. now actual negotiations are taking place, then let them work themselves out. cotto is a decent back up plan, but compared to what mayweather has to offer??? u dont get butthurt over the past. take a cue from what the ghost did. the one thing he did great was market himself and line himself up for a fight, he even shut up during the whole alexander bs. thats floyd being floyd, looking for advantages etc. guerrero shut up, got his fight, got his asswhopping and went home a lot richer. canelo's team has a lot to learn if they wanna reach the top.

team alvarez don't need to pu55y-foot around mayweather. its really not that big a deal for them if floyd walks away. they got a cotto fight lined up for big bucks, theyve got the credibility of the trout victory and the knowledge that they pushed for a mayweather fighter. and canelo has a lot of upside in the sport.

what's floyd gonna do? walk away from ANOTHER fight the fans were calling for?

lets see how another fiasco like the pac one plays out in the boxing public, on the heels of the under-performing guerrero fight.
