Exactly.......what people don't understand is it is written into the contract that the promoter choses the opponent, the site, and other details. That's why the fighter always says "I'll fight whoever they put in front of me". Only guys like Floyd and Vitali have a huge influence on who they fight and can pick who they want.

Frustrating fight for Ricky Burns, I think he should take an actual tune up fight then give Gonzales a rematch as he deserves it...
Well sort of I'm not one on quitters though no matter what the circumstances where If he had a broken hand I mean come on Abraham fought on with a broken jaw!
He was clearly ahead and the tides were turning I had Burns with 3-6, personally believe it was his heart that got broke and he also gassed out...
Terrible out come to a main event, Gonzales proved he has alot of potential maybe just needs a better trainer.

Sure is great seeing an unbeaten fighter throw everything they have expecting to stop a guy and then come up short. When the thing that separates the champs from the rest comes into the picture, stamina and determination, it is great watching the unbeaten fighter fall apart like he was put together with one screw.
