Yeah right. He will pick someone old. low punching power. Smaller moving up in weight. Past prime. Or c class or barley B class fighter!

He said it himself. Hes here to collect money! Not fight strong opponents!

Or he can drain them and fight them at their optimal weight of 150 or no wait that's PAC! Gtfoh pacstan! At least keep it real the only way Floyd goes to 154 is for money and that means only for Canelo from this point on. PAC went up o 150 not 154 for some bull**** trinket that means Shyte. Had he fought margs at 154 then it would have been somewhat legit. The doublestandards of PAC Stan's and flo tards is fooken amazing

All I've seen so far is 10000000 threads about Floyd vs canelo....people wanna see it people crying that Floyd won't take the fight etc...my question is this, say he does make the canelo fight...and ON SEPT. 14th, lets say he beats canelos ass...what's next? Will people stfu or continue with the nonsense and try and pin him up against someone else? I personally feel it will never stop until he retires, people will just keep putting others in front of him with excuses as to why he should fight them, followed by excuses as to why he would never fight them...

@ dudes being political and calling Floyd a 154 pound strap holder and calling for him to fight other 154 pounders.....gtfoh....dudes act like Oscar and Cotto are Joe Blow type of fighters....those dudes been in the lion's den with every relevant cat of their era....you can call them MUST names to have on your resume for a class of 96 fighter like Floyd.....c'mon man, get real!!

if Floyd could've called the shots, he would've fought Oscar at 147...and if Cotto hadn't been mentioning being drained at 147, Floyd would've fought him there as well....like I said, they'e MUST names to have on your resume for a fighter of Floyd's era so he fought them outside his comfort zone of 147 for the sake of WHO they were and not WHAT they had(the strap)

if certain dudes continue to win while in the lion's den and start doing legendary ****....I'm quite sure Floyd wouldn't mind going up in weight once more to add a worthy scalp to his resume....the Lara-Angulo winner should fight Nelo or the Ishe-Molina winner....Floyd should continue to hold down his throne at 147....let Nelo keep building....then in due time Floyd can come up and make alot of money for teaching him the fine art of boxing

It'll never stop honestly. They'll dismiss the victory with their selective memory then say Floyd is ducking Lara, Molina, Sergio, and GGG. Then these so called boxing "journalists" will say Floyd didn't fight who he should have or who the public wanted. On and on and on. Then people act like every other fighter is fighting world beaters every fight.

Hardly anyone these days has fought EVERYONE they were supposed to. Only fighter I can give props in that sense at the moment is Mares. Bradley skipped Khan. Garcia dismissed Matthysse and still may not fight him. Pac didn't fight Mosley when it mattered. Alvarez didn't fight Lara but fought Lopez. Sergio didn't fight Pirog nor does he show any interest in fighting GGG. Heck, Donaire tried to avoid Rigo at all costs.

Almost every fighter you can call out on avoiding someone at one time or another. Reasons being due to boxing politics, timing, or money. To me, it's hardly ever because they're scared. Theese guys fight for a living and I don't see any Mike Tysons around for them to be afraid of. It's just with Floyd, guys say he's scared and a ducker every chance they get because he doesn't jump when they say so. Lame.

Not really a valid reason. More like a hater reason.

You know full well both Floyd and his fans love to brag about him being 2x champ, #1 rated at 154. Hell he still hold the belt! With that comes the responsibility to defend against guys who are not past prime, and may be natural at the weight.

Every time he did it, he was moving up, to his 7th and 8th division. There were legit questions if he can handle both. turns out he can handle 7th, but not 8th.

OTOH Floyd is supposedly a legit champ in his 5th. Why would he need a CW?
