Lets not get ahead of ourselves too much now. Last weekends fight was against Robert Guerrero who has never clinched a spot on the Top 10 P4P rankings nor was he even a threat at WW.. His resume of work is down south..Comment

Well he defo won't so you're displaying ignorance here. You have very few people who are realistic: there are haters who underrate him massively and there are idiots like yourself who think his resume merits top 5 atg status. The same is true of Pacquiao. Floyd probably merits top 20 and Pac top 25 (I'd have Pac higher but the knockout will look bad to many given the circumstances). When Floyd retires 49 or 50-0 he will go down as top 5 ATG. YEAH I SAID IT!
You know what's funny, any Floyd thread that gets made his haters jump in and post before an of his fans ever get the chance to. They are WAYYYYYY more obsessed with Floyd than any of his fans could ever be.Comment

To compare the caliber fighters on Floyd's resume to that of Sugar Ray Leonard's isn't even comparing the same thing. You have a guy that fought Hearns, Hagler, Duran, Lalonde, Benetiz, Floyd's daddy, Ranzany, Kalule....some super tough ATG's (with the exception of Floyd's pops) who where fighting in 15 rounders.
Floyd has past prime (Gatti, Mosley, Cotto, DLH), Guerrero, Ortiz, Judah, Castillo, Baldomir, Hernandez, and Hatton.
Then to put either of those two on the level of Robinson is atrocious.Comment

Calzaghe was 46-0, Marciano was 49-0........are either of them in the top 5?When Floyd retires 49 or 50-0 he will go down as top 5 ATG. YEAH I SAID IT!

Frank Warren's effort to grease the skids with the Brits for a Wembly Stadium showdown between Khan and Money.Floyd Mayweather Jnr's virtuoso victory over Robert Guerrero last weekend strengthened the case for him to be considered among the finest 'pound-for-pound' boxers since the Second World War.
The 'Money' man might not have been as exciting or as explosive as the two Sugar Rays, Robinson or Leonard – his key rivals for the honour – but there seems to be a growing tide of support that Mayweather might actually have beaten them, had they gone head-to-head.
After snaring an Olympic bronze medal as a teenager at the1996 Atlanta Games, Mayweather has gone undefeated in 44 gigs over 17 years. Twenty-one of those spats were for bonafide world titles, spanning five weight divisions. Only the naturally heavier Oscar De La Hoya extended Mayweather to a split decision, only Carlos Hernandez has put him on the deck.

I've always thought Floyd would beat a prime SRL.
Here is my reasoning... I'm Panamanian and have watched Roberto Duran like you have no idea and specifically remember the buildup to what was eventually going to be his shocking upset of SRL. Ray Leanard was every bit of the exciting fast handed, smooth, flashy footwork and combination punching that his nickname suggested.. Duran was a blue collar hard hat kind of guy that was slower, smaller, and punched with slightly less force because he was the smaller man coming up in weight. Mind you, "Hands of Stone" was a nickname he honored by pounding his opponents. But let's be very clear... He was pounding them at the lesser weight.
Then the fight took place.. Duran could hit SRL with anything and everything and him and Sugar Ray had a battle. An unnecessary one in my opinion because SRL was clearly the more gifted and talented man. But this is where it gets interesting.. Duran was SMARTER than SRL in that fight. He was 2 steps ahead of him the entire fight. It was the only time I thought SRL lost legitimately in his prime. It happened when he was outboxed. I have seen this scenario play out several times in other fights in which the less flashy, talented man timed, out smarted and out hustled the superstar, at different levels. We've seen it with Pacquiao vs Marquez, Khan vs Garcia, Mosley vs Winky, Jones Jr. vs ANYONE, DLH vs Trinidad, Ali vs Holmes, Holyfield vs Tyson, Juanma vs Salido, Billy Dib's last fight etc... (I know there are tons more at different levels and times in boxing). The point here is, these men were all either out hustled, out smarted, timed, or stylistically challenged in their loss. Floyd has seen his fair share of tough fights but he was in danger of losing only twice in my opinion. Castillo 1 and against Mosley. Castillo he would edge and fairly rematched him to prove he was the better man in a close, yet clear contest. Mosley almost put him out and got punished thru the next 10 rounds for his troubles. Floyd has never been at ANY point, outsmarted by a lesser man because he is the smartest along with his many talents. You can't win either fight against him, mental or physical. Duran outboxed Leonard. I could just never imagine someone beating Floyd by decision...in this era or any era
What about Duran himself, or Sweetpea? There is quite a few boxers who could decision Floyd.Comment
