I don't know...Martinez was 159.4 at the weigh-in against Murray, but HBO didn't say what his weight was in the ring...

Sr. Is not impressed with Canelo fighting a skilled Trout but he is impressed at Floyd fighting the very skilled, smart, and dangerous Guerrero lol.

I guess I'm an idiot cuz I had it one point win for Trout. The shotime anouncers had Canelo by one point and one had it a draw if i remeber correctly? In boxing we all know a one point fight is close and can go either way. But considering Canelo won by one point by most people even with a KD, shows he isn't ready for Floyd. If Trout didn't go down then it would have been a draw how you scored it.

None of this matters though because the judges gave it to Canelo 117-111. This horrid score plus with PAC getting robbed against Bradley is a reminder how bad judging can be. No way Floyd gets in the ring with someone whom the judges might randomly give rounds to based on his huge popularity.

Not enough credit has been given to Floyd Sr. for the excellent performance that Floyd gave last weekend. He clearly sharpened the tools, and resurrected parts of his son's game that had been declared dead by many observers. Money also embraced his father's instructions in the corner to his own benefit. After they embarrass Canelo in September, I think Floyd Sr. should be a frontrunner for trainer of the year.

Canelo is a good fighter and is dangerous with his explosive bursts, kid has power. Its a fight he COULD win and thats where the appeal is. Realistically though Saul takes too many breaks to beat a fighter of Floyd Mayweather's caliber and If Floyd still has his legs, And going by the RG fight he seems to, then Alvarez is really in deep! Snr said he wants Floyd moving and Canelo while fast of hand and skillful has lead in his boots!

Agreed. I laugh at people who actually think canelo will ko floyd. With Floyd's chin and defense I don't see that happening. I just hope this fight happens so that Floyd can have a win against a younger, bigger, stronger, and undefeated fighter. He has been criticized many times for avoiding fighters like this.

If Robert Guerrero was @ 154lbs he would beat Canelos ass!!

Try to look at it from that angle it might be easier for you.

BTW eventually i beleive they will fight....possibly next.

That display Floyd put on w Robert I see him having ZERO
problems with Canelo. Keep in mind whenever yall match
Floyd w potential opponents yall tend to factor hope into
the equation being that yall want to see him lose so bad.
