This s h i t aint the best numbers in the world but for guy being the only name attraction in an event it aint shabby. Guerero isn't a name that will generate money that's worth talking about so this fight depended solely on Floyd's name. Regardless, it was an average night for Money.

Yeah but it sounds like they comped 109 tickets and the rest just went unsold. They could have dropped the ticket prices and sold them all.Originally posted by turkas View PostThere are always comps in vegas. It is how casinos get the big rollers to come to town and drop big money.

If the 16th largest gate in boxing historyvs a relative unknown only to boxing fans, plus over 8,000 closed circuit tv buys at $50 a pop,and 1.075 Million PPV buys is bad...then I want this fate too. Only morons think that a $2 Billion Dollar Global sport,BOXING, and one of the world's oldest and most watched is dead.Originally posted by P-4-P-King View PostYAY for Boxing. #1 best sport in the world. far from dead like some idiots say
Love Boxing and stop hating.Mayweather is a great fighter in any era, period.
I've said it many times before and was saying it 3 years ago.Money vs Canelo will be #1 or #2 highest grossing fight....EVER.

Except nobody "released" anything. The gate receipt report gets filed with the commission (by the promoter), and then becomes "public record". Any reporter, or anyone else for that matter, can just call the commission and ask how much the gate was........
