Absurd thread. James Toney was a genius at the weight and as close to unhurttable as u can get. Golovkin is a bad ass and im a big fan but lets be real, he has done NOTHING to suggest he can hang with let alone beat James Toney! JT would slice him up with sharp hurtful counters....

Toney would probably eat him alive, Golovkin is talented but Toney has more talent and what he does would work better on Golovkin as opposed to the other way around.


That would be a very tough match-up for Golovkin but a prime, in shape, motivated (he was all those at 160) Toney is difficult for anyone.

Those guys were running away from shots. If all you're doing is running and dodging it's difficult to get the KO, but he did mess Rosado up



Also, Golovkin had an off-night v Ouma, he didn't look good at all in that fight.
