never seen someone declining so dramatically after just one fight

basically he went from superman to dog ****

got his ass handed to him by a handpicked nobody like Murray

Sergio lost everything: power, speed, reflexes, accuracy, punch resistance, heck even heart, just look at how he was *****ing and acting all clasless, feigning low blows, headbutts and what not in the Murray fight, acting all ****y and showboating to compensate for his horrible performance, and failing miserably

Sergio Martinez died as a top fighter that fateful night of Sept 15. He won that fight but his prime perished at the hands of the ganja kid from Mexico

          He'll be missed
Haha......you joking right? Chavez had one good moment that Martinez cameback from...nothing like his loss to Margarito. I think father time caught him is all

aside from Sturm and Martinez, Murray's resume is a parade of bums.

Tbh I dont think Murray deserved a win against Sturm, probably not even the draw he got; he probably got some sympathy points because of the memory of the Macklin robbery was still too fresh

He beat Martinez but then again, that was the ****test version of Martinez ever, not even a shadow of Maravilla's former self. Murray is too limited as a fighter, he's a big guy with decent skills a good right hand and little else. He ain't top fighter material

Just because Chavez only dropped Martinez once doesn't mean he wasn't landing leather on Martinez throughout the fight, that fight took a lot of Martinez, that's why he had to celebrate his victory in the hospital with stitches on his face, 2 staples on his head, broken hand and torn knee ligament

The knee surgery did him in, particularly. It's not easy to come back from that when you're 37yo. Chavez Jr ruined him, Father time alone doesn't cut it, he looked totally electric against Chavez, powerful, fast, catlike reflexes, great chin, etc. a fight later he looks like utter crap. That's no coincidence

Calzaghe taking Lacy back to kindergarten....round-by-round.

Lacy undoubtedly felt he was going to win, very easily, early and by KO.

And he seemed absolutely stunned to find himself in a real fight with a guy who did not fear him and was actually relishing/enjoying the occassion.

Several rounds turned into exhibition stuff; Calzaghe doing what he pleased and dropping his hands to pot-shot a feared puncher.

Joe undoubtedly had his faults and was not as brilliant as his record suggests; but he utterly humiliated Lacy and ruined a fighter in one evening.

Ok. Good clarification....the knee and hand issues being a product of that fight. That makes sense based on his age. Knee issue is big
