Is Floyd Mayweather an exciting boxer to watch?

were all exciting fights IMO.

All of his fights at 140 and below were generally exciting. You got maybe 2-3 fights of him "boring" where he mostly boxed and that was Baldomir, JMM and Guerrero.

Someone that watches MMA and only Gatti fights may not enjoy it but I dont see how you cannot enjoy a highly skilled fighter who is landing such a high percent of his power shots.

hatton/cherrypicker was only exciting because hatton made a fight out of it.

the mosley fight was only exciting for the 1st two rounds when cherrypicker got hurt... every round after that was boring.

the ortiz fight was boring.

the cotto fight was good since cherrypicker thought cotto was on his last legs and wanted to get a legit KO this time.

Ortiz was very much controversial not exciting it was like watching a grown man take advantage of a mentally challenged kid . Hatton was exciting if you bought the Hatton hype which i honestly never did, the Mosley fight was a straight up blowout except for one punch Mosley landed then he went into jittery old man mode. I never said i don't enjoy he's fights i can appreciate he's skills and the boxing lessons he gives, but they are not exciting wonder wtf is going to happen edge of your seat fights.

The only one that you mentioned that was exciting was the Cotto fight and even then i never thought Cotto had a chance in hell during that fight. To me exciting means, the fight has at least a chance to go either way and it's competitive. When was the last time Floyd picked an opponent that you thought oh **** that guy has a legit chance against Floyd? not in a Looooooong time, and you asked IS not was he exciting a decade ago, granted there's been maybe 3 or 4 Guys that I ever thought had a legit chance, Cotto was the only one he did fight and that happened years after the once upon a time moment when i thought Cotto had a chance before Margo made ground beef of he's face and made him pray to him.

Actually most people buy hes fights because they want to see him KTFO so id say he's controversial not exciting but still a Boxing and a persona mastermind because even if people tune in to see the ahole get KTFO they are still tuning in. But the fights themselves not very exciting at all.

$70 to see somebody lose LOL...and to consistently used that so called excuse is BS! If he's not that popular, liked or whatever else you guys say...why flood Vegas (hotel, food, drinks, airfare etc) and spend so much money for a guy that's so boring? Especially if he's fighting bums? Doesn't make sense to fork over that much cash to watch an unpopular, boring guy fight washed up bums, right?

IMO Floyd is fun to watch.....Wlad, B.Hop, Ward, Rigo, and any boxer with a very high ring IQ is always fun to watch in my book....I like seeing fighters outsmart their opponents

Used to be exciting but once he finally got to the point in his career he always wanted (being on top) he stopped trying and just happy to get a W.

So now his fights are not entertaining to me, only reason they become exciting is if the oppenent turns it up on him, so basically his fights only become exciting depending on what his oppenent deciedes to do.
