I like Matthysse. He has awesome power and can box. The problem with him is that he lets off the gas when he has someone hurt. He lost to Alexander when he should have won because he let off the gas. I have Peterson winning this one.

I don't think it's a bad idea,as long as Peterson works behind his jab..Peterson is a monster body puncher,if he is going toe to toe he will be sapping some of Matt's power with body work..I like Peterson's mentality going into this fight..This is going to be a really good fight can not wait..

He's a good body puncher and he has some sick hooks but he just doesn't have enough "pop" IMO. He was landing some really hard body shots on Khan but Khan took them really well. The same with the hooks. Peterson was landing some massive hooks but Khan was still standing - although shook and going backwards a lot - but still standing.

I don't believe Peterson will charge from the first bell. There will be a feeling out process at the beginning. Lucas has great confidence going into this fight so I don't expect him to respect Peterson. He'll go at him from the 1st round until he gets the stoppage. I think Lucas will get his "W". I'm rooting for Peterson though. Respectable fighter.

Bodyshots are Matthysse's second name. One should consider this too. Having said that I still ponder who's gonna take this. Peterson has height and reach advantage, a skill versatility that is outstanding, but Lucas has a consistency that's stunning. A real toss up!
