You have to stay in the pocket with Matthysse and get some resistance, this is what Zab did the first 4-5 Rounds and was out-boxing and outworking Matthysse, Zab got in trouble when he starts Backing UP and trying to get the fight to the Cards instead of continuing to box, Matthysse is much more dangerous when he gets off with his Power when he is chasing down his opponent and coming forward

I think Peterson can fight inside and utilize the clinch to take away Matthysse Power, he has to make it UGLY Inside! If Peterson is fighting off of his back foot he will get stopped!
    I agree with this..

Hahahahahaha!!! Mayweather said the same thing and he just ran and hugged. Peterson will do the same, both are cowards. Some boxing critics will say they are "slick ", BS they are b1tches but the marketing media along with reversed racism makes them " technically great fighters". Im not saying you should be a piñata like Rios but hey if you say youvare great, show it. Don't hug. Don't push. Don't run. And don't win by gift points.

This will be a FOTY contender I reckon. A real war. I'm rooting for Lamont Peterson.

Peterson was badly hurt by Tim Bradley's right hands. Toe to toe with Matthysse mightn't be the best idea.

It's gunna be a terrific fight.Lucas ain't unbeatable when he fought Vivian Harris Harris shut Lucas's eye completely by the third until he was stopped on a bs stoppage although Lucas probably would have won due too some brutal body shots the ref robbed us off the what if.Lamont i feel will box early just get a feel for the fight kinda like the Ortiz fight then start too meet Lucas after a couple off rounds and while Lamont is a fine inside fighter Lucas ain't bad himself he throws a real nice right uppercut coupled with his left hook too the body Lucas can handle himself there.Lamont as killacash has referred too as shown he can box and slug while Lucas has shown himself too be an intelligent offensive fighter we don't really know how he fights on the backfoot or reacts when someone throws vicous bodyshots back.Obviously want Lucas too win as i am a big fan but won't begrudge LP the guy along with his brother have overcome a terrible hand in life but have fought too be something better

Peterson to me is the more skilled, especially on the inside, but I'm refraining from picking him because of Matthysse's durability, he didn't even flinch when Judah landed hard counters and Peterson at best is a pretty good puncher. For Peterson to win, he has to win the early rounds, Matthysse will then adjust at some point, that's when Peterson changes his look and takes it to him; smother Matthysse up close.

That in itself is gonna be hard to do because of how slow Peterson starts, I believe he gave the first 2 or 3 rounds to Holt if I remember correctly. Khan and Ortiz also overwhelmed him early, I repeat...if Peterson starts that slow again, I can't see him winning a decision. Peterson, as a boxer is decent, he has to outbox Matthysse successfully in the early rounds, I see that as a must.

I welcome any toe to toe action since I'll be there live. I think Pederson has the best inside game @140 but I want him out. I think this fight calls for candidate FOTY.

if Peterson really goes toe to toe then the article's title should be

"No Fear of Being KTFO, I'll bring a pillow"

although kidding aside I think Peterson has a good chance of winning as long as he boxes Matthysse. just stick and move, win on points. fans will hate it but a win is a win. Matthysse isn't one to press the action. if he tries to play tough guy with Matthysse he's going to sleep.
