The best opponent available?? Maybe with a few asterisks behind it. You can call it hate but I love boxing and would like to see the best boxer on the planet challenge himself instead of taking the easier softer way which he always does. He takes the easy road then tries to sell the public that he's the GOAT. The numbers don't lie right? That's the best u got? Available in May is the first asterisk. We all know Floyd calls the shots and just about any boxer would accept a fight against him whenever because of the $ they'd get. But Floyd chose RG and he took his sweet time finalizing that while threatening to bring in Devon at the last minute. This is all as he planned it and for a seasoned fan like urself to defend the behavior just reeks of nut huggery. Can't u be a fan yet demand more from your hero?

.....we fans know from our own personal talks with people that we know that far less people said they watched this Floyd fight in contrast to other Floyd fights. We are but a small sample size but our data extrapolated out, would constitute a close approximation to the entire population.

Anyone with half a brain knows that this fight didn't do traditional "Mayweather" numbers.

thats B.S...Dana White new the ratings of Pacquiao Marquez 3 within a couple hours after the fight..he compared the ppv to his fight on fox 11..i think it was Velazquez vs Dos Santos...if Dana White can find out fast so can schaefer

....The best (Showtime) they could hope to do with this first fight of the contracted 6, is to break even. That looks highly unlikely. This was a great deal for Floyd, but bad for Showtime and worse for boxing.
