Comments Thread For: Pacquiao vs. Rios To Have USADA Drug Testing

pac agreed sometime in 2010That has nothing to do with what I just said. Both sides have said and done things to hold up the fight at some point in time, but whether you want to admit it or not, the fact is that Pacquiao's camp has had the majority of excuses, starting with what I just said about walking away in 09 to fight Clottey. People seem to have revisionist history for some reason, but the fact is that it took 2 or 3 years before Pacquiao's camp was OK with unlimited USADA testing.
floyd became hard to find, and even though for years pacquiao had agreed to the tests mayweather would go on harping "he doesn't wanna take the tests!"
anyone remember that? even after they finally got ahold of floyd and negotiated and the negotiations fell apart because of i think it was the 40 mil crap, floyd right after that goes on again harping about how "he doesn't wanna take the tests!"
sht, i think he only hasn't said it this year, he kept bringing it up for about 2 years when it was already a non-issueComment

That's not completely true. Pacquiaos camp agreed to tests, but they still wanted a 7 day cut off until just recently. There are countless interviews and 24 7 interviews proving this, none of which I care enough to find because it doesn't really matter at the end of the day. The fight didn't happen and probably won't happen. Both camps are to blame. The point on all of this is that its ironic that Pacquiao waits until he gets knocked out by someone that he thinks was on steroids to finally officially demand blood testing leading up to his fight. You all can at the very least admit that Mayweather was right when he initially said that the sport needs to be cleaned up. I don't see anything wrong with someone wanting to make sure that the person theyre fighting is clean.Marquez has never failedba drug test either, but Pacquiaos camp suspects that he may have been using. Its no different than what Mayweathers camp said.pac agreed sometime in 2010

They were haggling over the cutoff, he never said no to tests. 3 months later they came back with 7 days, which is totally reasonable. That is, if there's a desire to make the fight at all on the other side.Comment

I'm pretty sure he still wants "commission testing", which is probably what this will boil down to. Arum doesn't give a **** about PEDs and doesn't wanna deal with no disclosure contracts and covering things up himself. He'd rather the commission handle thatComment

What I don't understand is why are floyd worshipers populating all these ped threads? Their heroes have been getting caught left and right during the past several months led by Floyd da best. It's mind-boggling. *scratching head*. I'd disappear from the face of the earth if I were a worshiper. Three of the cheaters even have the nerve to demand tests. It's embarrassing.Comment
