    gentleman's sport

I've been watching recent Mayweather interviews including the post fight one, and man he has matured alot. How can people still say they don't like his personality? He conducts himself with good manners during press conferences ..even humble sometimes. During the Ruben Guerrero blant, about him being a woman beater on live tv he kept his cool and acted like a professional...anyway I now have respect for the guy.

Sorry, but I'll never respect any man that lays his hands on a woman

Are you really trying to say that neither Tyson, nor Mayweather have actually physically harmed a woman?

dude, just because he got charged with assaulting that b*tch, doesn't mean he actually did it. There's no evidence or footage. The kid was told to lie by mommy so he could get more toys. Floyd had no choice but to plead guilty for that because the court is too ignorant to look at the facts.

                This.

Hitting women, going on racist rants, and giving death threats is not gentlemanly...

I'll give it to him -- he's not nearly as bad as he used to be, but lets not go overboard. You don't get credit for finally acting like an adult at the age of THIRTY-SIX.

You sound very short sighted....The obvious reason that Mayweather couldn't reply is that the guy was right, Mayweather is a convicted woman-beater. Not only that, he has been up for the very same thing about a half-a-dozen times that we know about and always managed to buy his way out. He almost did the same thing this last time, as he was facing up to 32 years, but the judge allowed herself (for some unknown reason) to give his a soft sentence.
