Comments Thread For: Photos: Alexander Povetkin vs. Malik Scott in Moscow

The "regular" world heavyweight champion of the WBA, Alexander Povetkin (25-0, 17KOs), is working very hard for his fight with Polish contender Andrzej Wawrzyk (27-0, 13KOs) on May 17th in Moscow, Russia . Povetkin is sparring hard with 32-year-old American contender Malik Scott (35-0-1, 12KOs). If Povetkin wins, he will move forward to a huge fall fight with Wladimir Klitschko. Malik Scott is an excellent choice to be Povetkin's sparring partner. He has very good defensive skills.

I imagine Povetkin's manager is paying Malik good money.

I honeslt can not see a scenario where Povetkin can pull off the upset tbh, i think whoever pulls it off will be another big heavy weight with a good skillset and ofcourse power.
