Lol. That is a good way to deal with the situation. My action was so reflexive based on my anger and I just snapped when she slapped me...didn't even realize I threw a shot till after it happened. Lol. Surprised the crazy b**** didn't ruin my life. Girls like scare because there is no rhyme or reason to what they do, but it makes perfect sense to them and they are never wrong. I guarantee her only mention of what happened was "he hit me"

well that must have been one hell of a night.

thats fine, but are you a pro boxer?

the thread concerns the frequency with which pro fighters batter women. that some women "are deserving" doesn't explain the higher frequency of battery on women by pro boxers.

you believe that these boxers are beating women with a higher frequency than other people or athletes because the women with home they associate are mot often deserving?

i'm not drawing a line between the relevance of your story and our situation, though it does illustrate circumstances where it's reasonable to protect yourself by harming a woman. if she's actively burning your face and you smack her to get her to stop you're certainly acting in your own defense. unless you went out of your way to slap a hoe, that is. that's "premeditated b#tchslapping."

The frequency isn't higher with pro boxers, it is simply reported more. There are probably people you know ( and are friends with) who put their hands on their partner. My mother used to work with women in abusive relationships and their partners ranged from the thugs you'd see on the streets to individuals with respectable careers.

Isnt the main reason not being able to EJACULATE for over a month! Take any bloke, get him to spend 6 weeks beating up guys in the gym, punching the heavy bag, taking punches and his balls growing to the size of plumbs. That's not a guy u wanna poke

Why is this so common among boxers?

(mind you, there are some boxers like Sergio Martinez and Wladimir Klitschko who have too much class to hit or threaten a woman)
it has nothing to do with class its more to do with control the urger to hit someone. A person could have no class at all and never hit a women or threaten

that's actually true. my roomate abused his GF in college. call him my X best friend. he was a d-1 lacrosse player. i walked in on him with his GF physically pinned to the bed and screaming at her. i wrapped him up in a bear hug and she was able to leave. that was one of the worst nights of my life, but i'm glad i was there. he tried to kill himself later in the night, and i stopped that too. it was a half assed attempt to toss himself out of a second story window. he would have lived, and i should have probably let him fall.

spousal abuse is much more common among people of lower economic statuses. some of these fighters are millionaires. that they often come from a poor economic background, where this is more common, invariably contributes to the frequency of the acts.

these fighters are absoultely battering women with much greater frequency than their socioeconomic cohorts. you're the only person in the thread who seems to be dis*****g that.

not say you a wrong or anything but it could be because they are not report it to the cops and these women are.

                    it's possible.

and it's also going to be pretty damn difficult to say for sure that fighters disproportionately batter women when compared to similar populations of men. if i had concrete quantitative in numbers i would post them.

still, these stories are pretty frequent, and they have been throughout history. anecdotally it is a well represented phenomenon.

how often do you hear about other public figures with such status being this violent with women? not as frequently as you hear about it with fighters.
