Why do so many boxers beat up women?

Here's a list of some of the boxers who have been arrested for beating up women and/or domestic violence:

    Jurgen Braehmer
    Deontay Wilder
    Jake LaMotta
    Y Gamboa
    Edwin Valero
    Carlos Monzon
    Floyd Mayweather
    Sugar Ray Robinson
    Joe Louis
    Evander Holyfield
    Rid**** Bowe
    Mike Tyson
    Ike Ibeabuchi
    Jurgen Braehmer

Why is this so common among boxers?

(mind you, there are some boxers like Sergio Martinez and Wladimir Klitschko who have too much class to hit or threaten a woman)

its not only boxers. lots of pathetic low life men beat up women, boxers just get publicized because they are combat athletes, so it makes it look even worse...

Gamboa didn't beat up his wife. He grabbed his wife while she was leaving with his kids and that's how she got bruised.

you can get arrested for not wearing a seat belt, big dawg.

but yeah, he just grabbed her in an attempt to stop her from involving the kids but that worked against him. the man did no wrong as far as i'm concerned.

Why do you reply to that **** scum when you know the only reason he made the post is to somehow put a negative light on Floyd's victory?

The best advice I was ever given is to steer clear of negative people that being haters, complainers and people looking for excuses. Those are the ones who bring you down. Never even say anything to them.

Of course he was arrested but he was found not guilty. You know how much pull women got in this country.

obviously there's a lot going on. it's a dynamic process. there's still no excuse.

i don't think we can overlook brain damage. it's well documented that people who suffer from head injuries are more likely to exhibit impulsive behavior, like drinking, ********, and being violent.
