Floyd really only got praised because he showed stuff that people didn't think he had anymore.

Either way, comparing Guerrero to Lopez is awful. Lopez is a 140 fighter, who could potentially fight at 147 and beat Ortiz, though he was clearly losing the fight against Ortiz. And than Canelo fought him at 154 lbs.

Guerrero was at least a top ranked guy at 147, Floyd's weight.
Comparing the losers, not me. I'm comparing the winners. I'd like to see Floyd show those skills against someone like Canelo, den I'd be impressed. Yes I was routing for the Ghost, but I also said Floyd was supposed to win. I don't see anything impressive about that.

      can't argue with the ts.

if beating berto is the standard for some fighters, canelo did more than that. he beat the guy who beat the guy who beat berto

You do realize this is about Canelo vs Lopez right?

He did broke Solis jaw undera minute, so I guess it was a better performance than the one against Lopez...
            P.S. How old are you?

Old enough to have been a fan longer than you've been alive.

Gotta agree with this. That was what was expected of the ginger kid on Lopez. Unlike other so-called stars. They make bums look like monsters. Bradley against Provodnikov, Berto vs ?, etc.

It's all pick and choose with fans in boxing due to many things. Personally I think it's a crap win but some dudes praise wins under same circumstances. Look at how they praise Hopkins for beating up WWs.

1st top 5 Jr Middleweight win was a against Trout a few weeks ago when he's been champ the last 2-3 years. Crap win.
He beat Rhodes who was top 5 and also Cintron who was ranked #1 at the weight 2 fights before being destroyed by Canelo.

If you are 114 years old then good for you and keep up the good work, if you haven't understand yet you never will but I have to try anyway, Lopez has never been an elite guy, he is kind of a gate keepper and a 140 pounder all his career, that fight agaisnt the ginger was a joke and every fan in the world knows that, if it was against Ortiz it would had been a joke too, the kid can be good but his ppl are afraid to pitch him against a real treat, the feather fisted Trout was his first test and to me, he didn't pass it, winning in Texas and so close is a joke, let c when he face the Laras and Molinas of the world on an even plane...
