I think that once the charges are filed it is hard to get them dropped...the DA will pick them up regardless and proceed....so he might have to see this one out to the end.

I just read the strangulation part was a new 2009 law that brings this form of domestic battery up to a felony. Still, if he has no record and can get a deal with the da, he might get the charge reduced back to misdemeanor or something. Sounds like some bad injuries to the girl so it might not be offered...

he was a big and talented guy in a division of guys who are mostly just big.

his right hand is something you don't teach.

was he a preordained great? obviously not. i thought that he would lose withint the next few fights.

still, i'm a sucker for big guys with talent. a dog likes a bone.

I don't know, he's big and powerful but I don't see anything special in him. So far his best opponent was freaking Audley Harrison.

If Wilder is guilty and everything and goes to jail, I wonder whose jail time will be worse, Wilder's or the Universium CEO's

Was it a wife/girlfriend or Vegas hooker? Perhaps shades of Ike Ibeabuchi but I really know none of the particulars. I always felt he'd have trouble with a good hooker.
