he wont. i guarantee it. and as long as he isnt a former felon, which he isnt, he will be fine. floyd went to jail for something similar. but then again, floyds circumstances were vastly different. hes not gonna go to jail for this, esp considering both of them were arrested? yea. highly unlikely.Comment

according to the link, wilder could see 1-5 years in prison for a class C felony battery charge. the important aspect of the case is the bodily harm.
floyd pled guilty to a misdemeanor battery charge. wilder is being charged with a felony because he caused her "substantial bodily harm."Comment

and thats all good and well, but like i said there is a difference between this case and that. the primary witness was also arrested, which means she is also guity of something. that goes a looooong way to making this case much weaker than it appears. any lawyer would tell u that. floyds case was different in that harris wasnt arrested, there were children invloved and there were other witnesses i.e. the children. that is what sealed floyds fate. this case on its face seems much weaker. and whos to say this woman co operates? not to mention wilder has no history of domestic abuse that we know of. he has a strong case and high priced lawyers. i like his chances completelyhttp://www.shouselaw.com/nevada/battery-penalties.html

Didn't know that he's already been tried and convicted...but it sounds like you've got all the answers - so, there's that...The guy is taking his aggression out on **********s.... Real sicko... Lock him up and throw away the key. The way you treat the lowest of people shows your true character. This guy is scum. I thought he was retarted seeing his interviews. Belongs in the special Olympics with his ****** strength. Maybe they'll find a nice outlet for him to properly express himself in the joint.Comment

He wasn't even a good fighter, if this turns out to be true it's not a big loss for the world of boxing. I feel sorry for the woman.Comment
