I love how everyone is jumping to conclusions. It's as though they are witnesses to the alleged crime.

Wilder was released on a $15,000 (£10,000) bond and appeared in court on Monday. He is due to do so again on July 3.

His trainer Jay Deas admitted to being in the dark as to the specific details of the case.

'The only thing that I can say is that I wasn't there, and I haven't had a chance to go over with Deontay what happened, other than I know that he was arrested and know what the charges and stuff are, but I don't know any detail,' he said.

Sadly, this will likely raise his profile, get him into the news.

That's bad regardless of whose fault it was.
