I think that may bepart of it but at least with Robinson, and I suspect at least a couple of the others the abusive tendencies didn't show up until later in life. The long term effects of brain trauma may have been a major contributing factor to their uncharacteristic behavior

It's not just boxers its athletes in general. Its obvious to me that when you're trained your entire life to be aggressive, to be physical, to be mean and be rewarded for it, it's difficult for some athletes to simply turn that part of them off. Their natural impulse is to act aggressive in bad situations.

Yup. This went down in the Phillipines.

They cut off his hands this morning and now he is doing 2 weeks in the stocks before being castrated in a public ceremony.

It seems like a lot of you are convicting him before actually knowing the facts of what happened. I don't think he has any hostory of this, so is there another reason?

Not that surprising. I hope Deontay can clean up his act.

Throw him in with Wlad, and THEN sentence him

To say it "happens to" them implies that it's passive. It's not. They've made that decision.

But anyway, innocent until proven guilty.

It's not passive clearly, and it's not an excuse but what I was trying to get across is that we hear it a lot with sportsmen involved in contact sports. I suspect higher levels of testosterone and heightened physical aggression may play a role.
