  • Arum: Rios will earn more than Guerrero made for Floyd fight

Arum stating Rios will earn more then $3,000,000 for his fight against Pacquiao and will make more than Robert Guerrero did for his fight against Floyd Mayweather.

Koncz said Marquez was offered $13 million (plus an upside of the pay-per-view profits), a raise over the minimum of $6 million he made for the December fight. When Marquez rejected the offer, Koncz said they offered Bradley $6 million to fight Pacquiao again, a raise from the minimum of $5 million he made for the June fight.

Terms of the deals Pacquiao and Rios agreed to were not disclosed, but Arum said that Rios would earn "more than Robert Guerrero made to fight Floyd on Saturday night." Guerrero's purse was $3 million.

Seems like a dig at Golden Boy and Richard Schaefer from my point of view.

Well Bradley got 5... I imagine Rios will get less than that. Watch it be 3.1 M

Wow JMM turned down $13m+upside, more than twice his biggest payday to date...
I can see why though, win or lose to Bradley, the 5th fight is always there for him unless Manny retires.

They only offered Bradley $6m, they should have done at least $8m to really bait him out of the JMM fight.

I can see Rios getting $4m for this fight.

That's the thing.... a fight with either man can still be made afterwards. If it's with the loser, they'll get less money, but neither seem focused on money.

No it shouldnt. Manny is still the big name in the fight. Bob must of really found a new revenue stream in China. If they were whilling to double Marquez' end Manny must be making like 30 mil plus. Thats great for him.
