Yeah you are right, he should not be fighting a hard hitting brawler with granite chin like Brandon Rios, he should be fighting a slick legitimate (WBA) welterweight champion like Paulie Malignaggi.

Hopkin might know what hes talking about. Pacquiao no only wont be the same chin wise but mentality will be different as well. He wont be as confident. I still think pacman wins just not in spectacular fashion. He will be afraid to take chances

Pacquiao has speed and pop. If he had skills then he would be able to adjust mid fight and not take so much punishment. His strengths are from his opponents mistakes. Dude don't even have no defense so no, he doesn't have real skills but he is gifted with what he has.

Rios better get his defensive-game straight. B-Hop should train him. I just can't see how he will get through Manny. This will be another Margarito-type of annihilation.

Even though I'll pick Mayweather to beat Manny 9 out of 10 times, Manny can still beat 80-90% of the lightweights and welterweights out there. Rios is most def. one those.

Rios isn't that fast and stamina isn't great. I guess I'll have to give this one to PAC but you'll never know

This is a terrible fight...even a recently Ko'd Pac is still way above Rios.

But Manny fans will hype anything, Shane Mosley was actually back in his prime that 1 night when they fought.

At 135 Rios had size going for him but he isn't good enough to beat any of the top 140 pounders. At 140 he is nothing more than a gate keeper going 1-1 with (Alvarado) another gate keeper. At 147 he will have no success. Easy nights work for pac, but after his brutal KO I can't hold it against him for taking an easy one. If pac loses against Rios he should retire
