It's a comeback fight which is why it's shocking, especially after taking a loss like he took one. Now he's getting back in there with someone who can rattle his brain with power, it's not that rios is a superb fighter by any stretch of the imagination it's that the kid punches hard like a mofo. Most other guys would take on a simpler less risky fight. That's why its shocking if he loses to Rios there is no coming back from it.

Rios ain't a one-punch KO artist but he has power, no doubt. We don't even know how his power will transition when moving up to welter.

Huh? No sorry brave would have been fighting the WINNER of that fight. The guy who's long, rangy, can box and **** and drop that monster right too. Rios has power no doubt, but he pressures u in straight lines and is a sitting duck for Manny. if you read the article, bhop wasn't even saying complicated things...he simply said pac is brave for taking on a big puncher like rios. just rios' power could spell the difference for a fighter like pac coming off a devastating ko loss. bhop doesn't have to bring up rios' skillset or the lack of it and yet some simpletons here are bringing up how rios is a bum and **** like that. yeah a bum with good power and a granite chin with a relentless style could be too much depending on pac's psychological state boxing-wise.

anyway, i don't agree that rios is a bum. he's just a very offensive minded fighter who chose to limit himself with such style. he doesn't care about defense and some fans just idiotically see skills in a defensive style.

At 135 Rios had size going for him but he isn't good enough to beat any of the top 140 pounders. At 140 he is nothing more than a gate keeper going 1-1 with (Alvarado) another gate keeper. At 147 he will have no success. Easy nights work for pac, but after his brutal KO I can't hold it against him for taking an easy one. If pac loses against Rios he should retire
