What is a joke is all these British posters who think Wilder should travel to the UK two fights in a row to make fights with 2 more experienced guys when their fighters would do nothing of the sort.

Why doesn't Chisora get on a plane and bring his fat, sloppy ass over to the US and win a fight for a change?

I remember when he famously smuggled a midget into the ring inside his stomach for the fight with Tyson Fury.

There is probably more money and interest fighting Chisora over there. Plus Wilder said he enjoyed fighting in the UK.

Turning down this fight is a bad move for him. I think he can beat Chisora, whose chin has definitely taken a lot of damage in the last two fights. Plus he's a credible opponent for Wilder.

I think it's foolish of GB to decline this fight, which is very winnable.

First of all if GBP wants to make establish a foot-hold or whatever the hell you're talking about they aren't trying to do it with a unknown, unproven and raw guy like Wilder.

Second, you don't ask a young fighter like Wilder to travel twice overseas in consecutive fights because it's good for your promotional company.

You'd be a ****ing terrible promoter and get fired by all your fighters for putting your best interests in front of theirs without hesitation.

As always with out Euro crew and a thread about Wilder - this is about you guys wanting to see him lose really badly and being pissed off that he isn't put into a fight he isn't ready for just for your pleasure.

I would say Derek Chisora is a better fighter than Manuel Charr.

So you guys are basically saying Deontay Wilder should be fighting tougher competition than David Haye, and he should be crossing the Atlantic Ocean to do it.

That's just plain ****** and you guys are transparent. Quit acting like this has anything to do with the state of boxing. All you Brits care about is seeing Wilder lose before he fully matures as a fighter.

Whats funny is that while you are posting stuff like this saying that Wilder isnt ready for Chisora, there are people on this forum giving him a chance to KO Wlad K and having him easily beat Fury?

Chisora is a very good stepping stone/gate keeper for Wilder. He's durable, doesnt punch that hard, isnt an amazing boxer (good not world class imo) etc He's also a name that people know who has challenged for world title honors, so its one to put on the resume should he win.

People need to stop acting like Wilder is some complete novice. He's an Olympic bronze medalist with 27 fights, hes sparred with some of the best fighters in the world, he needs to start stepping up now! He needs to go more than 3-4 rounds for his development, and fighting the likes of Audley Harrison isnt going to help with that. Look what happened to David Price not to long ago.

Yup, lets just continue Wilder down the path of fighting cans for another 30 fights... Warren's handed GBP a fight with a tough, credible but still very, very much beatable opponent.

From a rankings perspective, fighting Chisora doesn't make sense. Wilder is better off fighting Helenius, Boytsov, Fury, or the winner of Banks/Mitchell. Is Chisora a bigger challenge than all of Wilder's 28 opponents? Yes.

Let me get this straight...

You've got this talented heavyweight who's just recently knocked Harrison out over here and you're trying to break the British market... It doesn't get any better than Warren serving Chisora up on a plate for GBP.

GBP & Warren could co-host the fight and make most of each promoter's resources whilst GBP attempt to establish a foot-hold over here. This has nothing to do with Chisora's record, as it's much better than Harrison's and he'd do a hell of a lot better...

The only reason I can see why this fight isn't happening is because GBP are scared what Chisora might do to Wilder. Otherwise, this is beyond perfect for Golden Boy at this moment in time.

Chisora will last a bit longer than Wilder's other opponents and presents a different challenge. Chisora is durable and comes forward, makes most fights exciting given the right opponent. He doesn't hit hard at all though and if you want the perfect come forward, aggressive, durable type fighter to test you up and coming heavyweight against, Chisora is your man.

There is definitely more interest in the UK for this fight. Chisora is a mainstream name in the UK and puts asses in seats.

I think this would be a great fight. Wilder has fought bum after bum in his pro career- overmatched guys that haven't allowed us to see whether Wilder has developed on the actual skills he showed as an amateur. Chisora is rugged and busy, and though he doesn't have explosive one-punch power he can wear guys down. His defense is OK, and he's shown an ability to get inside on tall guys without taking too much damage.
