More impressive performance, Rigo over Donaire or Floyd over Guerrero ?

I have to consider the skill level of the opponent and p4p, it's not close. Rigo had a lot more to worry about considering Donaire has the speed and power to end a fight at any moment. If he fought a lesser guy, sure he would let his hands go more.

    So that's my choice.

The better comparison would be May weather/Corrales

Well both Guerrero and Donaire were shut out but shutting out a top 5 pfp fighter in donaire > shutting out a B-class Guerrero. Floyd is the pfp #1 and was expected to do what he did. Very few thought Donaire would get embarrassed the way he did from a guy with only 11 pro fights. Hence Rigo had the better performance.

This isn't even debatable. Donaire in comparison to the Ghost is far greater pfp and bigger than Rigo who damn near pitched a shut out against a top pfp fighter.

You have to take into consideration the skill level and ranking of the opposition.

I could look great against a 12 year old girl, but will I look the same against a 20 year old girl on steroids, and much bigger than me, with a knife in her hands?

by far rigo. he fought a top fighter that was legitimately matched up evenly. guerrero was a guy that didnt do **** to deserve the fight and was only given the fight because they thought his wifes story could see ppv numbers grow

Round 11 bro, it was the only other round beside round 8 that I thought the Ghost was about to go.

Rigondeaux takes this. In terms of performance ( without name value), I'd give the edge to Mayweather. However the level of opposition needs to be considered. Donaire is an elite fighter, Guerrero is a mediocre fighter who will not even sniff the hall of the fame.

                  In numerical form.

                  The fight: F=9 R=8
                  Opponent: F=5, R=8

                  Floyd total= 14/20
                  Rigondeaux total= 16/20

                    right on the button.....

one who bested an opponent considered above him takes the cake....

but both rigo and pbf, essentially mixed fighting with running....

both showed some boxing techniques..more so pbf...but....but

some fans felt they have not seen full fight engagements from both

I think Rigo over Donaire , was a great win , Rigo and Donaire are both way better than Guerrero everybody knows that , also its entirely different circumstances to Floyds fight , year out , jail and his mandatory , Robert earned the shot Floyd cruised to a win showing us he still got the magic , it dont compare to the other fight .

Rigo Donaire was the 2 top guys and both are prime elite great boxers .
