Style wise Marquez will not win, counter punch with speed and timing vs counter puncher with timing... It's going to go the same 99% of the time. JMM is getting old and wants to work on securing a solid legacy and losing to floyd again will not help that. I give him respect for knowing what he can and can't do, because he's done it. He stepped up, took a shot and said okay I've got other options. JMM-Bradley is a solid fight and should be a good display of boxing.

We're talking about Marquez, he doesn't have to mince words. If he wanted to say something directly, he would have. So leave it at that....

There's no reading between the lines - Marquez knows it will be the same story, whether @ a cw or 147. Take it for what it is - he wants no part of Floyd. If he had issues with the promoters & the cw, he would have say so. Don't infer or put words out there that the man didn't say.....

Floyd just boxed him. Manny has weighed more than Marquez and yet Manny still couldn't dominate Marquez. I think posters on here need to take heed to Marquez and stop with the excuses. If Marquez felt that the weight was the reason he lost then he would be looking to avenge his loss but he is not. That's the reality of it.
No he didn't say that at the end he is talking about Canelo how if he fights floyd win or lose its a win win situation. In the video he said he was bothered how floyd n gbp handled everything

...except for Pacquiao. Who Floyd still shows no interest in fighting.

Seriously? Right now, Floyd is the best and JMM wants none of the money man? and yet JMM wants to fight the best out there. Floyd and Manny presents more money for him and he picked Tim for lesser money thinking Tim is a lot easier to beat. Not sure which accounting school JMM went to but his calculations doesn't add up.. basic supply and demand/ risk/reward is way off. If JMM can beat Tim, well and good but I don't think it is a good style match up for JMM to be in for what's on the table. Tim will school JMM and unfortunately it ain't accountancy!

If it helps you sleep better at night, whatever works for you. When a fighter is as blood doped as Pacquiao was against Hatton, they deserve every second spent unconscious. There is even a term for it...I believe it is called karma.

takes a man to accept a loss. it's not as if floyd battered him, he was just too slick. no shame in that.
