Byrd's style has never been endearing to the boxing public...

I have actually enjoyed his fights, especially with McCline and Golota.

I think Chris has to fight bright offensive fighters in order to show his defensive talent at its best.

okay, youve got a point there. he is a standup guy, doesnt speak bad about anyone, at least unless its deserved, like with don king.

Actually...I believe most fight fans do appreciate his skills. Most, however, are not entertained by them.
Truthfully.....his skills have gotten him to a certain point, no further. The novelty of seeing the naturally smaller guy clown a # of lummoxes wore off a long time ago, & in fact....he doesn't even clown anyone anymore.
