The top 2 ranked ww after floyd are JMM and Ghost. they have won at most 3 or 4 out of 24 rounds against him. Maybe he is just better than the rest of the division.

Right, the same rankings that currently have Amir Khan as the #2 ranked WW. Despite the fact that he has lost 2 of his last 4 and ugh, I don't know, has NEVER fought at the WW limit.
Keep trying to protect your boy Floyd. Even he says he doesn't care about belts so why would he care about WBC rankings? Fact is when he fought JMM, Mosley and Ortiz there were better fights for him, both legacy and money wise but he chose the easier path.
Get's full credit for the Cotto fight, went up in weight and took on a hall of fame fighter and dominated him. Would get the same credit for Canelo as he actually poses a physical threat. If ginger is such easy work then why not take the fight now. Floyd wouldn't have to pay him as much as he will in the future and the fight would be huge, maybe even as big as when he fought ODL.
