I actually agree with Floyd here. If he beats Canelo then it will be Martinez. If he beats Martinez it will be Ward. People are just dying to see him lose before he retires. Me, I like the idea of going out undefeated at this point. From a historical standpoint. People saw how little he looked against Cotto, he would look like a midget against any of these guys.

did you have a party for calzaghes retirement? he retired undefeated too.

Pretty much. People don't realize Floyd is cashing out. That's what he's doing. In his 20's he was proving himself. He was still proving himself in his early 30's unlike so many others nowadays and now he approaches 40 people still demand him to prove himself? **** that. Floyd wants to keep that 0, no illusions of invincibility and who can blame him? Just appreciate him while you have him.

he can fight lower tier guys and keep his 0 all he wants, just don't expect to be respected for it and have people glorify it.

No race card here just a fact. Every one of those stars yours speaking of will tell you the same. Let's rally for interviews with the top AA boxers in the world. It's clear every time you see someone write "Floyd ducked Manny" you rarely see someone write "Manny ducked Floyd". Floyd's career is tainted because he didn't face Manny but never the other way around. This is no race card it's the truth and you and everybody else knows it!!!!!

Floyd has fought top competition at 154 in the past, and has a belt there. To say he's not a 154 fighter, but has a belt there, is ridiculous and is even beyond standards expected from you..

So lets apply your logic - If a guy had a belt at 168, but just fought at MW, and there was a lot of people talking up a potential fight with Ward, then yes I could call them out for ducking Ward if he stayed at 160, especially if they mentioned Ward a lot of times to the press etc.

Ward/Dawson is a different matter, but I think Ward really should be moving up to 175 soon.

Didn't Floyd just fight Cotto at 154lb and win the belt? ..or does he just fight washed up champs at that weight class? Which is it?
