Floyd will choose the opponent who will bring more money to the bout.
Example: there were no reasonable logic to have Matweather vs Marquez, because of huge disparity in weight. Actually Floyd did not made the weight, and came in 4 pound beyond the threshold. The world of boxing was quite suprised to learn that the bout contract was amended few days before the fight to accomodate the excess of weight of Mayweather. There was no way Marquez could win, but it was commercialized as superfight, and brought in huge money. Marquez did not intend to win, all he had to do was go a distance.
Bingo. The more and more I follow Floyd, the more I realize hes more concerned with money than anything else. It's not even about losing the "0" it's about making money, he just uses the "0" losses as his ultimate marketing tool. Not to say he isn't great, he just doesn't push himself to fight the best.

Sounds like you got Floyd confused with Manny. Floyd ALWAYS fought the best when they had a good chance of winning, and Sergio,Golovkin and Canelo are all middleweights, REAL MIDDLEWEIGHTS meaning they work hard to get down to 154 for the weigh-in but they are still 170 pounders come fight night. Who cares to see Floyd lose just because someone has a 25 pound advantage??

He is already, by boxing standards, a small WW. He walks around at 150. He could really be a JW. Im actually glad to watch history and enjoy an ATG. He will be gone and we will miss him soon. Nobody for me to enjoy and nobody for everyone else to HATE!!!!

here are chicken floyd's last five opponents before calling it a day: bradley, jmm, peterson, khan and berto...with cherry-picking his mastery, no doubt he will retire undefeated..
chicken floyd will not fight the following: canelo, martinez, porter, broner and pacquiao...his would-opponents stand no chance againts him...

When your options are Garcia, Khan and Ortiz... it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that.
