At this point in both of their careers Manny won't beat Floyd. If they would have fought about 3 years ago I would call it a toss up. Manny did have the foot and hand speed to beat Floyd.

Floyd had the counter punching, foot work, stamina and defense to nullify Pacquiao's speed. That's why Pacquiao has never been a favorite with the bookies regarding this fight. Marquez showed that Manny can't handle technical boxers who can think and adjust on the fly. The only fights Manny looked dominant in were the ones against slower guys with next to no defense. Floyd is pretty fast too with a longer reach. Nightmare fight for Pacquiao (always been). Sad that it didn't happen but blame the people who took sides instead of show the promoters that they wanted to see the fight instead of making excuses.

My thought was that Marquez finally beat him. It only took 4 tries to do it.
Only in a pacquiao haters head is it worth celebrating when it takes someone 4 tries to finally pass the Pacquiao test. Very rarely does a fighter give an oppenent 4 opportunities to figure them out. Its like you seeing the same test 4 times and only being smart enough once to figure it out. I would hope after that many attempts you at least win once. Only in a pacquiao haters head does this not make sense. In every other real world situation if it takes someone 4 tries to pass any test, lets say a DMV test, its considered a failure not an accomplishment. Typical Pacquiao hater, logic bounces right off of them.

You're lving in la la land. The 3 fights prior was pretty damn close and debatable. Manny also said he wanted to prove once and for all that he was the better fighter and the 4th fight was the last. Manny knocked Marquez down 5 times in 4 fights and couldn't finish him. Marquez done him off with one punch in the 4th fight. Manny even said he underestimated JMM in the 3rd fight and threatened Pinoys to say he won or else they weren't real Pinoys. All of this is documented. Reality welcomes you to come join us.

Why plural? It's only one guy, and took him 39 rounds and tons of punishment to get there. Despite both being counterpunchers, Floyd is not a faster, bigger version of JMM. One guy is risk averse, one guy is not, that pretty much defines both fighters.

Manny would get his ass river stomped. Dude can't even see a counter right hand with the guy standing right in front of him. Seriously..... I understand that people don't like Mayweather and love Pacquiao but this is a ridiculous statement coming from Koncz. Manny throughout his career has had trouble with the one solid technical boxer he has fought and then got put to sleep when he looked his best in a long time. Mayweather would in my opinion make Manny look so exposed that people would be mad at him for putting hands on Pacquiao so much.

Floyd has no problems with lefties as we seen with Guerrero and others. Manny will not be the same after that KO he suffered. Manny should have taken the fight when it made sense back in 09 instead of listening to Bob Arum and F'N his career up. Marquez showed that you can make Bob Arum work to get the fights you want if you REALLY want to. Manny didn't even really want Mayweather and Marquez proved that by having Bob get Bradley.

This makes you come off more as a Mayweather fan rather than a boxing fan because you are arguing for a fight NOT to happen. Pacquiao fights someone who has the benefit of fighting him 4 fights, that is more than 36 rounds of experience to study his style and then all of a sudden he is a bum for losing to someone who has had that opportunity to figure him out? Adding to the fact that is his only real loss in years. The hypocritcal part is when mayweather fights fighters like Guerrero, or Ortiz there is likely no arguement from your side that the fight should happen. It seems like you are more inclined to argue against fights where mayweather has potential to loose and to praise fights as tough where Mayweather is likely to win. It seems like you are the typical pacquiao hater.

Most people see where your type of logic is incorrect but just to give you a simple example:

If the spurs shut out an offensive team like the Heat, it is not automatic to say that they will beat all offensive teams so there is no use in seeing them play against any other team any more. Its not logical to say it makes no sense for them to play against the offensive style Rockets because we already seen them shut out the Heat. Its also not logical to say just because Rockets lost to the Heat it automatically means they will loose to the Spurs. We have seen this play out in the real world of sports over and over again. You wish to ignore this in your arguements why pacquiao isn't a worthy opponent. Typical Pacquiao hater, logic bounces right off of you.

True. The thing with the other opponents is they are inexperienced with mega fights. Pac has the only experience with these types of events and will never get fazed. The pac that showed up for marquez 4 before the KO would have a shot at beating floyd. Non of these young guys have the experience to beat floyd. Alavarez with his size has a shot.

Floyd will school Manny , absolutely school him , Manny makes too many mistakes for Floyd and will not land anything worthwhile , when Floyd boxes he is unbeatable against whats out there at his size .
