He was eating a lot of flush shots, but still he was throwing back and making an effort. I don't think it would've changed the winner of the fight at all, but still the stoppage happened and whole house was like wait wtf?

Didn't think it was as bad a stoppage as it was made out to be.

Yes he had his eyes looking at Mares and was throwing arm punches back, but i counted at least 8 bombs that Abner landed on him whilst he was on the ropes.

Acceptable stoppage IMO, could have let it go on longer but PDL was done for either way. Looking at it from a selfish point of view i'd have wanted the fight to go on longer but looking at it from a referees point of view i can understand the stoppage.
