I had Mares as my #10 P4P Fighter, gotta move him up to at least #7, great performance despite the horrible stoppage but no questions he had Ponce De Leon hurt

But Mares gets better EVERY FIGHT, can Brawl, can be a Pressure Fighter and he can BOX, excellent all around fighter with a damn good Resume!

Not an early stoppage. Nadie stopped the fight after Ponce took about 4 punches unanswered...It looked suspect because as Nady stopped the fight Ponce fired back one shot. People get killed in the lower divisions from taking multiple shots like that...

Lets look at the stoppage from Ponce's career perspective: This guy has plenty of fights left in him. He has lost before, he will probably lose again while winning many more times. Better for him to keep his faculties and stay healthy imo. Nadie has become a bit moranic imo....I trust Smoger a lot more but it looked like Ponce had stopped firing back. Part of boxing is knowing if you are in danger of a stoppage and either taking a count or firing back, which is all you have to do to keep the fight going.

i noticed box nation commentators were really biased towards mares..giving him so much praise for landing punches and winning rounds (which were close) and not giving ponce any credit for landing his left hands or anything...martin murray seemed like the only one who would give ponce credit for landing punches and winning the rounds he won...

Both of the big networks are the same as well as both of the big promoters though you will have a select few side with one or another..... Stateside anyway
