You make the promotional game sound so simple-you are an impressive man and that just cant be debated. (if someone tries to debate it bring them to me and I will ****ing end them)

What current promoter does things the right way?

      Seacrest out.
      Oh the whining crap.

It's obvious your running out of pertinent arguments that's why you switched to the whiner's stroke.

Look at the present. Their top fighters are all busted and nearly done. And he's right, prospects are JUST PROSPECTS. A Hoya prospect is no better than a John Doe prospect. What counts is the results of their top pedigree.

Now, let's take a look at what's the current status of Hoya's boys.

Flipside has already answered that for you.

          Oscar Delahoya
          Marco Antonio Barerra
          Oscar Larios
          Bernard Hopkins
          Juan Lazcano
          Jorge Barrios
          Kassim Ouma
          Shane Mosley
          Johnny Gonzalez
          Librado Andrade
          Kingsley Ikeke

Some of these fighters have lost some tough fights recently but next to Bob Arum's Top Rank there is not another promoter with a deeper pool of fighters then GBP...how long have they been around?

Like it or not, Golden Boy Promotion's appearance is positive for the sports. It is giving the well established promotional outfits a run for their money thus removing the monopoly.

We see a lot of good fighters being given exposures, not like before wherein only fighters being handled by King or Arum gets the spotlight.

I gotta admit De La Hoya is the best personality of all the promoters other than Don King. I'm sorry, but I have always and will always support Don King. Dude brought us the Rumble in the Jungle by taking boxing as far as Zaire!! I think Don King is great and I will never buy into him "screwing" a fighter out of a win. Pure bull****. Point to one instance where it happened and we'll talk. And before you start, I had Byrd beating Golota quite soundly and Golota edging Ruiz by only a point.

De La Hoya lost my respect when he wanted an investigation after the second Mosley lost but gained a little back when he admitted he had Hopkins losing to Taylor in the first fight. Few promoters will admit their boy lost when it goes to the cards, but Oscar did that where even Bernard wouldn't admit it. Big ups. Also, you're right. De La Hoya is bringing big fights, they just aren't living up to the hype. Not his fault.

Gary Shaw is my favorite promoter as far as bringing big fights and wanting the top names for his guys. He wanted Freitas and Castillo for Corrales. He wanted Calzaghe for Lacy. He wanted Mosley and Trinidad for Wright.

gbp might be the future but righ now...arum,shaw,and king put on better cards on both televised hbo and showtime and ppv...also gpb lost my respect by putting mab vs. peden and mab vs. fana on ppv!! that is not cleaning up boxing at all...
