He hasn't declined one bit, and the Pianeta fight will probably not show much, as Wlad is expected to win very easily.

A fight later this year with Povetkin should be more of an indicator whether Wlad is still firing on all cylinders.
He hasn't showed any signs of slowing down yet.

Guess the questions is, after he's beaten Povetkin, who is really out there he hasn't beat? So it's more of a question of motivation for me.

Lots of guys for him to fight over the next few years; Pulev, Fury, Price, a second Haye fight, etc.

Wlad has a really good chance of enhancing his resume considerably.

I dont think Pricey will be ready for him before at least 2 years down the line. He'll take povetkin in the summer, a voluntary (Chisora is my guess), then winner of Pulev and Fury and then probably another Haye fight.

If he manages to go through that, he has solidified his status as an ATG and possibly top 10 of all times.

To the point, explain how you can be a one punch KO artist when you don't KO your opponent before the late rounds? Then they will have felt a whole lot of those one punches. It's not a criticism of Wlad, I just think its an inaccurate observation.
I have to agree this hitman guy is complete idiot, he once tried to convince me that you throw a hook only with your lead hand

Wlad KOed most of his opponents before the late rounds, how can you say he's not a one punch KO artist? What happened to Chambers or Brock? He has KO power in both hands. Since his losses he started fighting cautious that's why most of his KOs since then were in late rounds.

            He's utterly ******ed.

I think I need to clarify what I mean. Classifying him as a one punch KO artist, would mean he KOs people with the first punch that lands at least sometimes. Like a Tyson or a Foreman. I'm fully agreeing that Wlad is one of the most powerful punchers EVER in the HW division, but he's more skillful and focuses more on a gameplan than going gung ho from the get go. It's just not his style.

And Chambers was ko'd after a beating in the 12th round. Brock was ko'd in the 7th after a three round hammering. Take Tyson's fight against Spinks or Foreman vs Frazier or Foreman vs Moorer. Wlad is much more similar to Lennox. An intelligent fighter.

Well they both come from Manny Steward. Also Tyson power is pretty overrated, Foreman I can agree he was a freak of nature, but Tyson, sure he took out couple of guys with one punch, but he KOed most of his opponents with powerful combos

I wasn't meant to be a criticism of Wlad. Actually, quite the opposite. I feel it would be disrespectful to classify him as a puncher.

That might be true about Tyson in the 90's, in the 80s most of his KOs came by a punch or two in the first 3 rounds.

Andrew, you're starting to sound like a sensible guy to me.
