There is turmoil going on in Venezuela due to the disputed election. Many criminals are taking advantage of the depleted police forces, but it sounds robbery was the motive here.

This was also the second son that the Gonzalez family lost by this senseless violence. Here is an article by
      http://bloodlineboxing.blogspot.com/...-death-in.htm:

Journalist Jhonny González, 33, was killed at daybreak of Friday after his night-time duty at sports daily newspaper Líder.

It happened in the fourth street of La Urbina, east Caracas, when González was intercepted by several subjects on a motorcycle and a car, who urged him to hand his car over to them.

He presumably opposed to the move and was shot three times. He could not be taken to the hospital as he died right away. His body remained inside his car.

Nelson Mendoza, the victim's father, said that the journalist called his mum to tell her that he was on his way. This is the second ordeal undergone by the family as a result of violence. On April 16, 2000, Johnny's brother, Héctor Hugo González, 23, was murdered in order to steal his car.

González's is the 44th body taken to Caracas morgue in May.

            Very sad indeed.

Question: Isnt this the writer that a few weeks ago Montoya and others on twitter were asking if he was even real

Terrible tragedy if he is but just asking

Awful news! His brother was murdered some years ago evidently also in a car *******.

              22 & 33

Their family and friends must be going through hell. My prayers go out to them.

              R.I.P Jhonny.

It's not the boxer. It's some journalist?
