I understand that you are a Khan fan. I'm not going to knock you for that. You are free to support who you like. But you are trying to convince everyone that Khan is an elite fighter. Or at least better than Danny Garcia. And at this point in his career, it is very hard for us to believe that. To a normal person, saying "Khan is one of the best" would be weird.

Khan's speed has always impressed me, but you can't just get by with speed. Not in boxing. Speed is just one aspect of the sport. I mentioned this in other threads, but I believe timing will always beat speed. Fighters with great speed will probably win the first 3 or 4 rounds almost all the time. But once the fighter with the good timing gets used to the speed, he will time his punches accordingly. For example, Pacquiao's speed posed a threat to Marquez for the first half of the fight until Marquez landed the perfectly timed straight. Judah's speed posed a threat to Mayweather for the first 4 rounds until Mayweather got used to the speed and started timing him.

I think the first thing Khan needs to do is understand his weakness. He has a weak chin. That is clear as day. I won't knock Khan for having a weak chin. Some people are born with a good chin and some people just aren't. You can't blame a person for being born a certain way. But he needs to understand his weakness. If you have a weak chin, then improve your defense so you don't get hit there. Don't throw so many punches greedily and leave your chin open for so long. Be patient and don't go for the knockout or it won't come. Don't be fast with combinations, but be quick with one or two punches so you can instantly bring the gloves back to your face. The good fighters aren't the ones with good chins. The good fighters will never let you know. Unfortunately for Khan, the world knows. To be honest, I think it's too late for Khan to be considered an elite, unless he changes up his whole style. And I think it's too late for that. It's hard to remove yourself from the style you've been working with your whole life. I always thought it was Freddie Roach's no defense pattern, but he showed the same vulnerability with Virgil. To the TS, I don't know man. You say he's only 26, but 26 is a little too old to learn a whole new style of fighting. Especially when boxers are considered old at mid-thirties.

You're a Khan fan so I understand that you are going to support your fighter, but scientifically, or logically, it's kind of hard for the rest of us to vote for Khan.

The older Khan gets the more vulnerable he is becoming,his power is decreasing too he really doesn't have much pop,i hope he realizes soon that he isn't an elite fighter or it could get really embarrassing

Khan is running out of places to hide. You can only fool so many people for so long and the only people that buy into his illusion of greatness are deluded idiots living in a dream world. To anyone with a brain it is clear he has been exposed and is not top notch material and Garcia will KO him again if they fight and the silly excuses about lucky shots,he was dominating and got careless will look more and more ridiculous.

After watching Khan-Diaz, I can't see Khan avoiding a KO from Garcia. He'll box great till he gets clocked on the chin by a good shot and then it's all bambi legs and clinching until Danny finds him again. I love watching Khan, he either dominates with his boxing skills or crumbles under pressure, always exciting. He would have KO'd by Diaz if the ref did his job stopping him clinching for so long. Hunter didn't fix ****!

Khan could fight with a game-plan and it wouldn't make much of a difference. Khan's punch resistance is shaky, his footwork can get very sloppy, and he's defensively irresponsible while throwing. Khan is a perfect storm, a KO waiting to happen (again).

You can put me on record for saying if there is a rematch Garcia wins by quick easy KO. I don't think there will be a rematch. The Khan I saw fight Judah, Paulie and Maidana was a very good fighter. The new Hunter trained Khan stinks. With the help of the home country referee Khan just barely beat Diaz. Diaz is ranked #36 in the world. Is there anyone on this board who thinks Diaz is as good a fighter as Garcia. Khan promised to show us the new improved Khan and he showed us a Khan that is no where near as good as he used to be. Garcia seemed to have ruined him. At the age of 25 I think Khan is finished and will never be a champion again no matter how Schaefer stacks the deck in Khan's favor. Diaz damn near beat him in England and there are no world champs that are not lots better than Diaz. Diaz has been KOed 5 times so why couldn't super Khan even put him on the deck?

as the opponants get better, the better khan fights...

for diaz fight i honestly think he felt the pressure fighting home after 2 years...he also trainned like 130 rounds of sparing which was an overkill...

Diaz was tuff, solid chin and he gave the best performance of his life, all credit to him. There are too many people quick to bash khan on a poor showing but rather should be giving credit to diaz for a great performance.
