Is that is really whats going on? Or is GBP letting pete/matts fight for the opportunity to make more money by fighting Danny?

Lol @ you trying to make promoters sound like some nice guys. If thats the case why was Garcia fighting Judah instead of his mando? Why didn't GB give Lucas the opportunity to make more money then? GB is hoping Matthysse fails vs Peterson the same way Ajose failed vs Matthysse.

They're just trying to get rid of one obstacle at the time. Cause at the end Garcia is the more marketable one.

They had danny fight zab in brooklyn. they chose zab because he helped fill the arena. Matts is a good fighter but he hasn't shown he can sell seats in a small 5k auditorium let alone a 20k plus seat arena.

A win over petersen-a guy who has a good sized fan base will be a good and get him more exposure. I get that you want Matts to fight Danny but you should be honest about wwhere they are as attractions right now at this point.

Remember for most casual fans they've seen matts only fight at most 4 times- 2 of which were losses (whether we agree or disagree with the judges decision).

Matts is building a fan base wit these fights and creating more interest. nothing wrong with that.

After his fight against Judah, Garcia was interviewed by the Argentine TV (Space Channell). Asked about who he thinks will win -if Matthysse or Peterson- he said "Peterson". He sounded as if he wanted it !!!

Doubt this will actually happen, especially if one of the two wins convincingly (ie Matthysse knocking out Peterson, lol). They're just teasing as usual...Danny will probably go off and fight Paulie coming off a loss to Broner LOL
