Why are Golden Boy being so reticent about this all of a sudden? Are they trying to build some will they/won't they suspense, or are they just getting cold feet?

I this a joke? if you don't think that Garcia is a very good fighter, everyone is entitled to their opinion. but to call him a bum - that's a joke. c'mon. the guy has beaten Khan, Judah, Morales (2x), Holt. Maybe he'll lose to Peterson or Matthyse, but to call him a bum is ridiculous

We'll see what happens but I'm predicting/hoping these next 2 fights will be Matthysse's big jump into the spotlight. Peterson will be a trickier fight than Garcia. Matthysse demolishes Garcia IMHO.

I'm thinking because they most likely knew the negotiations between Haymon and Lucas.

Impossible. According to our nsb experts, Danny is ducking Lucas. (Who hasn't even beaten Peterson yet). And since Judah fought a spirited last couple rounds against Danny, exposed poor Danny. Even though they ignore the fact that triangle theorizing doesn't work.

Matthysse Vs Garcia is a fight i'd love to see but wont be sold on it happening until its officially announced.

Wouldn't be surprised if Garcia faced Khan at 147 instead.
