I disagree with odlh. The cotto tbat fought floyd didnt tire out in the later rounds. The impact of his new trainer was evident. Cotto fought the entire fight. He ate those looping rights all night. Cotto earned mad respect for not giving up. Floyd earned mad respect for not trying to wt drain cotto to 147 and fought him at cottos desired wt.

Lol you are fearless. To self correct gives u mad props. Arum didnt want to put cotto in e ring with floyd. Floyd and cotto finally fought after arum was out of the way. And cotto earned his largest payday. After all that time with top tank he was finally paid a salary he deserved.

War torn or not, Cotto still fought a great fight against Mayweather. It's a real shame he faded so badly in the championship rounds but it was still a great effort.

Floyd was obviously unhappy with how the fight went from his perspective but the way the he pulled it out in the late rounds and took over the fighti was still hugely impressive. A good night for the legacies of both guys I think.
